LASER APPLICATIONS IN THE PERIODONTAL PRACTICE
OUR STATE OF THE ART LASER TECHNOLOGY INCLUDES BOTH Nd:YAG AND ERBIUM LASERS

Biostimulation
Laser induced biostimulation promotes healing of ulcerations and herpetic lesions and can aid in the removal of hemangiomas

SUMMARY OF DIFFERENT LASERS
Diodes – absorbed by pigment and hemoglobin (bacteria & soft tissue)
- Nd:YAG – absorption similar to that of the diode laser but incurs less thermal damage to the tissue
- CO2 – absorbed by water and hydroxyapatite – soft tissue and hard surface ablation
- Er:YAG – similar absorption as CO2 but less collateral damage due to shallow penetration and good thermal relaxation. Virtually eliminates the smear layer.

Uses Are Not Only Limited to These Procedures…...If you have questions, please call and ask!
